Portable Appliance Testing

We provide a simple and cost effective solution, enabling all companies & organisations to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations.

How and what do we test?

Each appliance is comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. We use the latest PAT testing equipment and are able to test all portable appliances in your company including - IT equipment, microwaves, 110V to 415V. The inspection and testing will be carried out by a fully qualified electrical testing engineer

Out of hours service at no extra charge

All electrical equipment to be tested has to be disconnected from the mains supply. We realise the inconvenience that this can cause, especially in a busy office environment, that is why we provide out of hours service at no extra cost.

Paperwork and Labeling

On completion of the testing you will be issued with a safety certificate and a detailed report that provides information on each individual item. All items that pass the inspection & testing will be labelled with a safety sticker with its own unique asset number that helps both you and us keep track of all portable appliances in your company.

What if you need repairs?

Minor faults found during the course of the inspection can be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. More serious faults will always be quoted for first.
